Once you’ve been released on bond or on your own recognizance you must abide by any restrictions the Judge has imposed. These restrictions are referred to as conditions of pretrial release and can include restrictions such as no consumption of alcohol. It is imperative that you strictly comply with any conditions of release. If you violate conditions of release imposed by the Judge, you can be rearrested for violation of those conditions.
You should calendar your arraignment date and be sure to appear at that hearing. If you fail to appear at this hearing a warrant will be issued for your arrest and you will waive your right to speedy trial. You face minimum mandatory criminal sanctions, should you be sentenced for DUI. You should know and understand these sanctions.
