If My Case Was Dropped Do I Still Have a Criminal History?

If the case against you was abandoned by the state and the case resulted from an arrest, or a nonarrest, but the State had at some point filed a charging document such as an information, you will likely still have a criminal history record showing that you were arrested.  The criminal history record will also reflect the disposition of the case.  While the presence of a criminal history does not mean you have been convicted, the record can still cause difficulty in job or volunteer applications as any employer reviewing the criminal history will be able to see the record of arrest.
